Clam...I hear you. And he's awfully nice in person, too. A wee bit strident, or, if you want to be kind, a wee bit passionate to the point of aggressive, but very moral, and utterly lacking in pretention. I am an athiest as well, the difference between Penn and I is that I am still a little disappointed about it.
