Santa. For several weeks I've posted a poll on Santa; is he real or a symbol? Although the poll only received about 60 responses, it was neck and neck the entire voting period. I thought it'd be a slam-dunk for the jolly guy being real but it wasn't. Respondents who thought Santa was real until the age of 5 or so had a disappointing realization (but never held it against their parents for lying). Respondents who knew the truth early on never experienced dissapointment. We'll have to give it a bit more thought. Email any opinions or arguments you have and remember, that form is configured to be totally anonymous if you want it to be.
